If there is one event that promises the beginning of summer, it’s the opening of Terrasses Bonsecours’ fabulous terraces in Old Montreal. It’s a bistro, a nightclub, and multiple levels of terraces, perfect for a 5 à 7, or 8 à 10; which is more our style 😉
Famous for their Boozy Brunch and delicious sangria pitchers, Terrasses Bonsecours is one of the few open-air terraces in Montreal, reminiscent of what you can find in Miami. Their night to party is Wet Wednesday and their day to party is Sunday for Boozy Brunch, but we were at their media event on a Thursday and god dammit we had an excellent time!
The cocktails were flowing, particularly a fabulous lemonade style cocktail that came served with candy. The weather was perfect and we were feeling fabulous, indulging in the salmon tartare canapés that were being passed around, and the Greek salad and octopus canapés that we couldn’t get enough of.
We were spoiled at this event, our fabulous (and handsome) waiter kept the cocktails coming, so much so that we always had at least two each at our table at all times, one for each hand! It was a fabulous girls’ night that had us giggly and boozy, just the way we like to be. The DJ was spinning sick beats, the booze was flowing, and we were reminded why summer in Montreal is absolutely fabulous.
Terrasses Bonsecours should definitely be on your list of bars to visit this summer! It’s the perfect spot to make some of those messy bad decisions…
