Grand Prix Montreal is THE party week in Montreal! We’re so excited we can barely breathe, but we can sure drink, and there will be a lot of cocktail-ing aka boozing. For a guide on the city’s best parties Sweet Pea from Montreall has you covered, click HERE for her guide on where to go to see, and be seen and party all week long. If you know the Divas you know that we love Montreal and we love to party!!!!!
We started our Grand Prix Montreal party week on Tuesday, yes we got boozy on a Tuesday, and we don’t even feel guilty about it, ‘tis the season! Rolls-Royce threw a party to unveil their new car, they’re also making a SUV, and planning an expansion. Our eye was on the beauty above, we felt like Grace Kelly on the French Riviera circa 1950s zooming around with her hair flowing in the wind. A girl can dream 😉
With Brahm Mauer’s team manning the pop up bar, it’s no wonder that we couldn’t get enough of their cocktails. The “Thank you Berry Much Cocktail” was made with vodka, strawberry puree, lime juice and soda, and we kept coming back to the “Main Squeeze” Cocktail with vodka, simple syrup, grapefruit juice, grapefruit, cherry bitters and soda. If you ever need bar service, go with Brahm Mauer, this team never disappoints.
These events are about the booze and the food, well at least that’s why we like to attend. The event was catered by La Marguerite Traiteur, a kosher catering company that knows how to impress. The smoked meat station was absolute heaven, and, we don’t even like pretzels and but we couldn’t get enough of them. They passed around arancini, shrimp tempura, Asian style beef on a stick and other canapés, while we not-so-elegantly stuffed our faces.
They even had a cold station with plenty of sushi and all the accoutrements, a tuna tataki salad, and even a beet cold soup in a shooter glass that had Sweet Pea licking her lips due to her creepy love of beets. La Marguerite Traiteur offered an elegant upscale catering service that will impress even the finickiest of Divas. Rolls-Royce knows how to throw a party!
We hope that we got you excited for Grand Prix Montreal, we certainly can’t wait for the weekend. For a list of parties, Montreall has you covered, click HERE and plan your weekend accordingly! But hurry up before they’re sold out…
